This summer, we went live with our long-standing client Volvo Car Switzerland completely redeveloped white label booking site for their approximately 50 dealers. The booking site integrates perfectly into Volvo Schweiz's brand world of HYRA ("rent" in Swedish) and now appears in a modern look and feel.
However, the visual appearance is not the only new feature; above all, new functionalities based on data analyses were designed in advance to be able to always make customers an attractive offer. For example, alternative search results (stations, periods, and models) are automatically displayed to increase capacity utilization and therefore sales across the entire dealer network.
Another focus was on the customer area, which has also been and will continue to be significantly expanded to give customers the opportunity to handle more and more services independently online, from changing their credit card and address, viewing bookings and invoices to rebooking (planned). Another important aspect is the group-based Flexabo, which can switch flexibly between short-term rentals and longer rental periods with monthly billing.
Further expansion stages, especially in the subscription area but also with regard to the underlying back-office system, are being implemented and will follow.
Volvo Cars Switzerland is a world-renowned automotive brand in the premium segment. Its declared goal is to make the world simpler, cleaner, and safer with Volvo vehicles and innovations. For example, with the development of the modern three-point seat belt, side-impact protection - or complete electrification: Volvo is the first established car manufacturer to commit to this and to sell exclusively fully electric vehicles from 2030.
