Where are you from? 

I come from Marburg (Hesse), the heart of Germany.

Why (what was your motivation) to apply/start at kms? 

Ich habe hauptsächlich in der Online-Shop-Branche gearbeitet. Zum Beispiel bei Zalando, später in einer der preisgekrönten besten Online-Shop-Agenturen in Deutschland. Und in der vorherigen Firma habe ich Shops/Bestellsysteme für Mercedes-Benz und AMG zusammengestellt. Außerdem gefällt mir, dass KMS schnell wächst und ich mithelfen kann, ein Team und neue Prozesse zu entwickeln und aufzubauen.  Alle neueren Projekte sind auf dem neuesten Stand der Technik, was mir gefällt.

What exactly do you do at KMS? 

I am a front-end developer and take care of the design and UI of the web projects. I am good at stylesheets, usability and also graphic design.

What do you find exciting about KMS? 

I am thrilled that we have built our own product into a much-used and popular shop almost from the beginning. I like that I can contribute ideas on how to improve it. And it's about quality and taking the time to do it right rather than cheaply.

What surprised you most about KMS? 

All colleagues are friendly and enjoy working together to achieve the same goal. KMS does not have a strict hierarchy, but surprisingly it works well most of the time. Also, I was surprised that in Corona times it is allowed to work from home and we got confidence. And that was the right thing to do. Sometimes people make different break times than in the office. But in the end, everyone does their work.
