Where are you from?

I was born in Bad Hersfeld (Hesse) and have been living in beautiful Nuremberg for about 15 years.

Why (what was your motivation) to apply/start at KMS?

I switched from Choice AG to KMS GmbH about two years ago as part of a takeover.

What precisely do you do at KMS?

I am a PHP / JS developer and responsible for the implementation of new functions as well as bug fixing in cooperation with the product owner of the respective project.

What are you excited about at KMS?

KMS is really about software development, from the idea to a stable version. The focus is on quality: there is enough time for perfect implementation. It's simply fun to work together in such a collegial team - with people who enjoy developing just as much as I do. It's also wonderful to work with people from all over the world. So, there is a lively cultural exchange not only during the lunch break.

What surprised you the most about KMS?

At KMS, the working environment is friendly and open, without strict hierarchies. I have the opportunity to work from home from the home office, which was not always a given in my previous jobs. The offices at Kaliwerk Berlin are generously designed and offer everything you could wish for in a workplace.
